Surprise!! This was the new BL project I was talking about. Heaven Official’s Blessing is one of my favourite BL novels of all time, and when it first came out I had been wondering if I should try TLing it (I wasn’t a translator back then haha). But then it got picked up and the newbie me decided to give up that idea.

Anyway, a while back I noticed that the previous TL Snail Translations seemed to be inactive. I asked around a bit and found out that a new TL took HOB up after Snail went inactive, and after negotiating with them, I became the new TL for this project! Am so happy! In any case, that TL and I sent Snail around three emails in total for the past month or two with no reply, so we’re reasonably sure they’re inactive now. It’s been over three months and just in case, I decided to TL this from the beginning so there won’t be any problems if Snail does come back~ I plan to update this at least weekly (though I might miss the next week or the week after rip sorry guys, its exams ORZ) so please look forward to it!

LOL though spent over 10 hours on the first chapter……the author writes in such flowery prose sometimes it hurts my brain to decipher it haha. The real MVPs are KagamiTL and eik, who are my go-to helpers when I get stuck on a phrase!!

Hiii~~ I’m back with your daily fix of Villain Astray, LOLOL.

Sooo, I welcomed my gege KagamiTL from MirroredTranslations as my on-and-off editor~ As in, he’ll have the right to edit my chapters whenever he finds an error lol. So if any of the newer chapters look spruced up after a while, you guys will know who to thank. 😉

Also, many thanks to Mandy w who bought me a coffee!!! I really appreciate your support, exams are in a bit over 1 week so I’ve been gulping down tea and coffee like crazy ORZ ;;w;; Also, thanks for the comment aha, though I am a bit puzzled over what you want to say. Add oil…to keep my translating fire burning? LOL.

About that new project, currently going through some administrative things. If all goes well you should see the first chapter in about 2-3 days, give or take!

Hullo!! Surprise update!!!

First off, many thanks to Vannie for helping me edit this chapter! I was feeling too tired to so Vannie agreed to help me do it~~~ Or else you’ll probably get this chapter much later aha.

Second, when I asked for more reviews/ratings last time, I didn’t mean so many one-star ones ORZ…the novel rating dropped again. //clutches heart//

It’s actually my dream project, but when I first started out it was already taken by someone. ;;w;; But I got the permission from the previous (awesome amazing gege) TL who is thinking of dropping it and AHHHHH I FEEL SO EXCITED??? AIFHASJHFDAS. Will most likely start posting when I finish TLing the third chapter!! Of course, this new project won’t affect the updates for Villain Astray, no worries~~~

In case some of you didn’t read my update, here’s what happened:

  1. I had set up all the rest of the spree posts and chapters with wordpress’ scheduled posting feature but I did it at my residence with its funky wifi. Apparently none of it saved.
  2. I was a stupid person and didn’t copy the edited chapters over to my edited file since I was doing it in a rush.
  3. Was halfway thru midterms when I found out, and didn’t have enough time to re-edit.

Anyhow, midterms are finally over so here I am, pooping out chapters!!! Also, MANY THANKS to everyone who bought me coffee!!! They’re literally the only things that got me thru the past two weeks. Like, I’m so dead now. My luck has also hit rock bottom; fainted a few days ago in the middle of my chem lab because I ran up and down the stairs like 6 times trying to find the room since I forgot where it was. They almost sent me to the hospital and now I have to do a make-up lab (at least, I hope they’re going to let me do one ORZ labs are worth 5% each….). Also, the less things we say about my midterms the better….so much tears. So. Much.

OKAAAAAY. SO. Realized a few days ago that none of my scheduled posts actually, uh, happened? I think it was because my wifi was weak or something….? After checking a few days ago, I found out that nothing saved.

And….I was stupid back then and instead of saving the edited version into my file like I usually did, I just copied it over to wordpress and edited there. Which means I have to edit everything over again. Rest of the release spree chapters are long TLed, but I’m smack in the middle of midterms and I really have no time to edit them or post them. I need to study. Fudge. Akajhdksajdha why did I not study more two weeks ago QAQ

Long story short, I’m so sorry for the lateness of those releases and you’ll most likely get them either this Friday or Saturday. Thank you for the patience….and the coffee orz. Pulled two allnighters last week (my first ones two) and if it wasn’t for the coffee I don’t think I would have managed to get out of my bed those days….

Oh, so a few of you have already read my weird scum villain fic? What a surprise! I’ve been thinking about posting it all here along with any future fics for scum villain/FOD…what do you guys think? It’ll probably be placed under the tab ‘my writing’, which would replace original novels. Original novels will instead be a sub-tab of that instead……
