Phew, been a while, thanks to everyone’s patience! Not sure if you guys seen my other updates, but I finished finals……and now have to return to school for summer school lmao rip. Also managed to get a volunteer lab position this summer, so there’s that!

Hi everyone, I’m sure most of you noticed another group translating Halo lately. A reader told me when I was almost done chapter 19, so it came as a shock to me as well ahahahah….Not going to lie, I’m pretty upset and so stressed right now since it was disheartening to see this the moment I came back from exams. I spend an average of six hours per chapter, and sometimes I wonder why I’m translating in the first place if the project I work so hard on gets poached the very moment it becomes popular
I honestly don’t know what to do since we’re both fan-translators, so they’re not in the wrong either….I guess there isn’t anything I can do? In any case, I’ll continue translating for now and see if things will work out, since I really do love this novel. For those that decide to stick with me, thank you very much, you don’t know how happy it makes me. And for those who decide that they like the other version more, thank you very much for sticking with me till now, I appreciate every one of you!
Anyway, on to the chapter, which I’m posting early because I’m moving out to my new university summer residence this Sunday. Wish me luck packing, guys! I don’t have a mealplan this summer, so here’s to buying a bunch of frozen dumplings and hope I don’t starve to death……

AHHH GUYS I’M BACK FROM THE WAR. ;;w;; Thanks to everyone for being so patient! Finally done year two of university, but haha summer school starts in like 5 days rip. Fingers crossed its not that bad, I have a lot planned for Sakhyulations this summer so I hope I get to everything!
This part had been a horror to go through, me and my TLC practically treated it as a battle as we struggled over how we should translate some of the idioms and terms. Chapter 22 has already been translated by Lily and Maru is starting the translation check! Although, let’s wish Lily some luck for her finals too, which she’ll be fighting against till mid-June! She’ll be finishing up chapter 23 before retreating from the translation scene until then, so Maru and I will do our best till Lily comes back!

Hey guys I’m finally crawling back from exam hell ahahaha. I’m gonna see if I can grit my teeth and translate some chapters before summer school starts in a couple of days. It’s gonna be a busy summer for me (full course load + I’m volunteering in a lab!) but also because I have to summer school, I can’t get a job lol rip. In any case, I’m gonna have to do some serious micro time management this year, because I have a LOT planned for Sakhyulations this summer and I really pray I manage to get to it all……

I found it odd how a lot of comments said the previous chapter ended weirdly in chapter 5 and went to check it, and uh somehow the html or something went wonky and wordpress ended up eating literally half the chapter??? But yeah, I fixed it so things should make a lot more sense now!! Sorry about that everyone, and sorry for taking so long to notice!

This chapter was pretty long, so I’m splitting it in two! The second part is already translated and I’m just putting on finishing touches, so it should be up next week instead of in two.
Exams are starting soon akjdhak I cry. Got six exams this month (first one starts on the 6th rip) so I’m like deceased right now. It’s time to chug that caffeine again… 😂😂😂 I’m actually posting these updates in lecture haha, what is time, what is life?
Also, I had a April Fools chapter ready for you guys, but I ended up missing it rip. If anyone had been interested in seeing what it had been, you can find it here! What happened was that I took the pinyin of the chapter and then gave it to my friend (who only knew limited Chinese vocab) and she ‘translated’ it word by word by matching the pronunciation to the words she knew LOL. In other words, it’s worse than mtl.
