I was just about to post this when my friend told me the legal versions of the novels just came out?! Shocked lol! Not sure what I should do now, do readers have any advice? I’m thinking about linking to the official right now and leaving my fan-translations up until September before taking them all down, but hmm…

This last chapter has been in my folders since 2019. I wanted to fix it up to post to end off my time translating HOB.

Thank you to all the readers who supported me back then, and I’m sorry I couldn’t manage to finish the entire thing. Special, special thanks to my team Lily and Maru, especially Maru who slaved over this chapter for the entire month to make it as pretty as possible!

Also, sorry for being so many days late with this! ; w ; Everyone following my twitter/the people who read chapters from my other projects should know that I planned to get this up on the 8th for my birthday, but akhdskad it didn’t happen rip. I was in exam hell and Lily, the other translator, went on a trip where she couldn’t access google docs. BUT ANYWAY, we are back in business! The next part of the chapter should be up shortly (maybe within the hour?) and this chapter is like twice as long as a normal one, so I hope that makes it up to everybody!!

I met a few of you guys at Anime North last month, it was nice meeting everyone! Got some goodies too thanks to Jiphee’s rally, both me and my friend had a lot of fun! I’ll take a pic of the goodies sometime after finals. Thanks to everyone who participated in it!!

There’s gonna be some changes with the staff — Maru will be taking a hiatus for an indefinite time to focus on irl responsibilities, and Lily will be off for a bit for school! That leaves me and Jade (who usually edits a week after the chaps are posted), so I’ll do my best to make everything readable ahahaha.

Sorry for the being so slow with this chapter, btw. Would have came out earlier but then my phys chem prof busted out the quantum unit and started throwing in so much calculus I hadn’t even seen before. I’ve been reading calculus wikipedia pages and dissecting my textbook in an attempt to wrap my head around those problems, rip. Why is there so much math in chem?! On the bright side, semester 1 is ending soon and I’ll only have one classics course in semester 2, so let’s hope July is kinder to me free time wise.

Sorry, kind of short on time right now. I just finished midterms (I know, I just finished finals and then I got plunged into summer school and midterms…I hate myself, why did I think this was a good idea again?) and I have an anime con to go to in the morning, so I really should have been asleep like…3 hours ago LMAO. I’m going to be so dead when I wake up in a couple of hours.

Here is chapter 22! Small changes to note – instead of the Kindred Moon Grass, we renamed it to the Kindred Moon Herb (which makes more sense since grass usually don’t grow leaves lol). Other than that, I don’t think there’s anything else term-wise we’ve changed.

AHHH GUYS I’M BACK FROM THE WAR. ;;w;; Thanks to everyone for being so patient! Finally done year two of university, but haha summer school starts in like 5 days rip. Fingers crossed its not that bad, I have a lot planned for Sakhyulations this summer so I hope I get to everything!

This part had been a horror to go through, me and my TLC practically treated it as a battle as we struggled over how we should translate some of the idioms and terms. Chapter 22 has already been translated by Lily and Maru is starting the translation check! Although, let’s wish Lily some luck for her finals too, which she’ll be fighting against till mid-June! She’ll be finishing up chapter 23 before retreating from the translation scene until then, so Maru and I will do our best till Lily comes back!

Here’s the next chapter! Sorry for being a day late, there had been a few iffy parts we had to review before deeming it ready to be posted. Also, my exams are starting in 3 days (my exam schedule is actually like, one on the 6th, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 23rd, and 26th), so please expect an update in the bigger gaps in between rip. Like, if all goes well, I’ll be able to update sometime around the 10th…please wish me a lot of luck ahahaha.

Sorry for the long wait, everybody! Spent the last few days dying in university because of midterms. Exams are coming up again and I’m already feeling spent 😂😂😂 Please let school end soon. Anyway, special thanks to Maru, who you know as our darling translation checker. We ended up switching roles (so they translated this chapter while I translation checked) since I was so busy 💦💦💦 Maru is the real mvp!! We had some delays because of school and because of Maru’s photoshoot, but the only reason we even got this part of the chapter out now is because of them!

That being said, this is a really long chapter (11k characters when usual BL novel chapters are 3k rip. MXTX has more 4k character chapters though), so it’ll be split up. Thanks for everyone’s patience!!

Hey guys, here’s the chap! For those that weren’t informed by Sakhyulations’ twitter , the entire team were caught up with real life last week (I had midterms, Lily was mia and Maru had complicated fam issues), which is why this is a bit late. Sorry everyone! ;w;

That being said I just had my advanced organic chemistry midterm an hour ago and our whole class collectively died. Like wow. I would feel extremely depressed right now but it was an 8am midterm and I was awake by 6am so I feel too sleepy to feel sad LMAO. In fact, after I post this I should nap till my afternoon classes before I drop dead during my 2 hour commute home kjashdkdh.

In any case, because chapter 20 is pretty long (and chapter 21 is even longer holy smokes), its split into two! We’ll try to get the second part up soon! Special thanks to eik who helped me check the translation a second time since I had been too busy, I love you fren!! ;w;
