Again lol what am I doing with my life. My midterms start next week but I’m still translating for you guys. Maybe it’s because you peeps are just too awesome?

Just a reminder that I’ll usually update weekly on either Fridays or Saturdays, and that any extra chapters in a week are not my first priority. Please don’t think I’ll be able to update this much for the rest of the project rip rip rip. Each chapter takes so long to TL (I swear they’re getting longer!!!) and I’m a one-woman team haha…

Surprise~~~!!! I decided to choose a bad life choice and translated this instead of studying for my quizzes…mostly because I really want to see some MCxML interactions but they’re still not here yet rip. Also I was inspired by the few people here who clicked on my ko-fi button, even if no one ended up donating lol.  I still felt very appreciated.

New project!!! And uh, I lied lol. Instead of taking up the one I mentioned before, I found this BL story which is much easier in language than Promotion Princess, so I might not even need a TLC.

As for the update schedule…ahhh. I found out after I took the project and claimed it that this story is 475 chapters long?? 4! 7! 5! Chapters! Long! I wanted to do an update every other week like Promotion Princess, but then it’ll take me over 16 years to finish it……..so! I’m going to try and do weekly updates, and see if I can squish in extra chapters after the promised update per week. In any case, there’s a ‘buy me a coffee’ button at the bottom of my page, so donations might just equal more extra chapters ORZ.

(because for example, 1 chapter takes me approx. 4 hours to translate, and a coffee from Starbucks that is approx. $5 lasts me an extra hour into the night, so, yeah…)

Alrighty, here’s the next chapter! Many thanks to dear Luen who figured out the flowery language of the beginning orz. This chapter marks the first of the differences from the drama adaption (plot twist much??) but I’ll stop spoiling it for you guys lol.

On the other hand, is anyone here a BL (boys love)/danmei fan? I’m thinking of starting a new BL project called ‘所有人都暗恋我‘, or tentatively ‘Everyone Is In Love With Me’. It’s a hilarious wuxia one where the poor main character gets a system that allows him to see his favourability and relationship stats with everyone he knows. Anyway, I’m currently recruiting a TLC for it, one that is preferably good at flowery language and wouldn’t mind looking over things from Promotion Princess if me and Luen are unsure! Poor overworked Luen is my back-up TLC for this story~

Hello there! This is one of my favourite stories and I used to eagerly wait for updates. After it was dropped, I waited a long time for someone to pick it up…but nobody did ORZ. Thus, I decided to see if I could understand it myself, and…I could?? Then I picked it up myself aha so other fans like me could get a chance reading it.

So with full blessings from the previous translator, I started to work on this! I strong-armed the too-nice Luen from Luen Translations into helping me with this project, so please thank Lu for me. Really. I’m illiterate in Chinese so what I do is get google-sensei and another translator website to read it to me as I follow the pinyin. Poor Luen made over 800 edits on this chapter…. //bows down to my TLC deity//

After discussing with my TLC, we agreed on biweekly updates that should come on Saturday. I was debating between that and weekly, but Luen is returning to university in September and I’ll be going into my first year….that being said, I’ve already TL’d a couple of months’ chapters in advance so there won’t be any worries of me dying from overwork lol. Or disappearing on you.
