Hi everybody, we’re back with the next offering of HOB! <3 Many thanks to the team + eik for helping with the quality check since I’m as sick and miserably as a wet, soggy tissue paper rip.

Nothing much to say this time except that school is starting again LOL rip. At least for me and Lily (I actually have to go to my first lecture in like……a few hours rip PRAY FOR ME I’LL GO CHUG THAT CAFFEINE)! People, please pray to Xie Lian for me that I’ll survive Advanced Organic Chemistry, and that Lily will kick ass in school too! (And that Maru will kick ass at work LOL)

We’ve finally hit chapter 50 everyone! What a milestone. Thanks to all you darling and patient readers who have stuck with me so long. It seems like just yesterday when I was being excited about how I had started my first BL translation project……

Finals ended pretty late this year, so I didn’t have the time to plan a longer spree, but I hope this chapter still makes someone happy on this lovely Christmas (or Boxing) day. All of you guys make me so happy with your kind comments, so thank you! QAQ You guys are awesome!

I got this chapter to my editor pretty late and right before Christmas Eve, so they’re a little MIA, so I gave it a cursory edit myself because I really wanted to get it up today. Quality might not be as spectacular as before, so please forgive! Check back in the future for a nice, edited version, haha!

How was everyone’s Christmas, and is anyone excited for boxing day like me? I can’t wait to go shopping for a new mouse and to stock up on chocolate, LOL. What is everyone hoping to buy?

Hullo everyone, Merry Christmas or whatever else you celebrate from Sakhyulations! This has been a long year and I’ve met many new faces and started new projects, it’s been a blast!

Once again, I’ll like to thank everyone: Rei, our lovely editor for Villain Astray, element.number.three, our beloved editor for Villain’s White Halo, Luen, my first friend in the translation world and the TLC/editor for The Promotion Record of a Crown Princess, Jade, the editor for Heaven Official’s Blessing, Maru, the TLC for Heaven Official’s Blessing, Lily, the newest addition to our HOB translating team, eik for dealing with my emotional problems, panic attacks, and pinch-hitting for TLC when I needed it, and Snowy, for dealing with all site issues and being awesome in general! You guys are truly amazing and I don’t know what I would do without you!

Also, thank you to everyone who has been supporting Sakhyulations this year, whether its the people buying me coffees during finals hell or those sweeties that left kind comments, I seriously love you guys all! I don’t think I would have lasted so long in the translating circle if it hadn’t been for your constant support!

Site mascots Sak and Hyu are busy being Santa Claus’, so we’ll see the fruits of their efforts (if/when I finish this last chapter I’m translating right now LOL) later. Please stay tuned, and I hope everyone’s been enjoying their holidays!!

Also, sorry for the late update! QAQ I know I tweeted that this will be out yesterday but I fell asleep halfway formatting the chapter, and then my editor caught up to the latest chapter and said he could speed-edit before posting which is why its only up now! But asdfghk my mouse died on me so I switched to a slightly faulty one that keeps making 12348585 clicks so formatting has been rough, at least I know what I’m getting during boxing day this year. XD

Anyway, many thanks to everyone who’s been so patient with me this month! Finals are finally out of the way so I’ve become a translating little hamster on their wheel as I try to catch up with everything, LOL.

OMG formatting this chapter was a headache, it’s footnote galore so please prepare yourselves. We did a lot of researching for this chapter!

Also, once again, please welcome Lily to our team! The bulk of this chapter was actually translated by her and she did a fabulous job! Both Lily and I just finished final exams so hopefully we can start cranking out those chapters, no promises but chapter 16 should come soon too! Maru did a beautiful job translation checking and special thanks to my friend and Maru’s mum (real MVP!) for clearing up iffy parts with us!! Hopefully, this chapter will read as smooth as butter even with all the Chinese aspects thrown in~

RIP guys its that time of the year: finals season. My first exam (human physiology uhuhuhu who the heck named the tuberomamillary nucleus histamine activating system??) is on the 8th (this Saturday TnT so I’ve been pulling allnighters like crazy aHAHA, including right now), and my last on the 18th. So please expect delayed releases for both Halo and I’ve Led the Villain Astray until then. ;;w;; So sorry everyone, I wanted to create a stockpile to prevent this, but university had been crazy so I never got a chance to. Thanks everyone for their patience, love you all. I’ll be back before Christmas to make it up to everyone though!!

Sakhyu: So this chapter is shorter than usual, but it had 15x more poetic nonsense….

#3: Oh yeah, there’s a lot. But that’s normal for cultivation novels
Sakhyu: This saturation is what happens when you have short chapters. And the next two chapters are short QAQ.
#3: OwO I feel like the poetic nonsense is going to keep increasing until we hit terminal poetry

Exams are right around the corner, but the good news is that we have a new translator joining for this project. Everyone, please welcome Lily! Both Lily and I have finals in December (although a bit staggered) and Maru is going on a trip for a week so we can’t guarantee quicker updates this month, but we’ll see if we can step up our game after finals hell pass!
